Every hunt runs under the watch of experienced regional managers who keep guides sharp, camps squared away, and hunters taken care of from arrival to pack-out. Choose a day-hunt option out of our lodge with hot meals and hot showers, or go further into the backcountry with a wilderness camp. Either way, our team has been scouting the ground since early summer, tracking elk patterns and antler development well before your season opens.

Every hunt is set up around the terrain and where the animals have been moving that week. Depending on the hunt, camps are either truck-accessible or ATV-supported, and some are fully off-grid. That setup comes from groundwork that starts months before your season opens, our team spends the summer scouting the area, tracking elk patterns and antler development. Camps run throughout the season, sometimes with multiple hunting parties in the field, guided by the same experienced team throughout. Youth hunters hunt at 50% off, and we also offer a non-hunting companion package for $1,800 for anyone who wants to join the trip without carrying a tag.

Where We Hunt | Private and Public Ground
We guide both private and public land hunts. Private land hunts run through the Wet Mountain Valley (GMU 86, 69, and 84). Public land hunts span White River National Forest, Great Sand Dunes Preserve, San Isabel National Forest, and Rio Grande National Forest (GMU 82, 86, 861, 361, 68, and 35). Dry Creek Ranch Outfitters is based in Custer County, with hunt access spanning all of these areas.
